The international migration crisis is shown in intimate, stark detail in this new documentary from Afghan filmmaker Hassan Fazili. The film starts in 2015, when the Taliban placed a bounty on Fazili’s head. Forced to flee with his wife and two young daughters, this incredible film captures their uncertain journey, showing first hand the dangers facing refugees seeking asylum, and the strong bond of love shared between a family on the run.
This screening will be introduced by representatives of Friends of The Drop In For Asylum Seekers and Refugees, Sunderland.
